What a day this was! Chamali and and Michael’s Wirral wedding in Merseyside was just incredible. So much thought and planning had gone in to the day, including countless personal touches and even surprise Sri Lankan dancers! The only thing that Chamali and Michael couldn’t plan was the weather, but just as they deserved, the sun came out for them and didn’t stop shining the whole day. An absolutely perfect wedding day.
I started the day with Chamali and her bridesmaids as they got ready in a hotel near to the River Dee before heading to the other side of the Wirral to meet up with Michael and his groomsmen. All the morning preparations went perfectly and there was a real sense of excitement in the air as it got nearer to the time we left for the ceremony at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Following the ceremony and all the congratulations and hugs outside the church (one of my favourite parts of the day!) we all made our way to Caldy Golf Club for the wedding reception. The wedding breakfast room looked amazing, filled colour and so many personal touches and nods to Chamali’s Sri Lankan connections.
The whole day was an absolute pleasure to be a part of and I couldn’t have been happier for Chamali and Michael that everything went so perfectly on the day. We were treated to an unbelievable sunset and the surprise Sri Lankan dancing and ceremony was incredible to witness.
To Chamali and Michael; thank you both so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer. It has been so nice getting to know you both and being a part of your amazing wedding. I can’t wait until our next shoot later in the year!
Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from your beautiful wedding on the Wirral 🙂
