What a brilliant day yesterday was! Myself and my great friends Liam and Bee Crawley held our first wedding photography workshop in Manchester – so exciting!
The whole day flew by and was a huge success, everything was perfect from our amazing models the lovely Laura & Pete Lawson (awesome wedding photographers themselves!) and the beautiful Julia, to Samira who helped make the girls look even more stunning, Laura Simpson from Laurel Weddings for the beautiful flowers and the lovely Katie from Lace Bridal in Hale for lending us the beautiful Sabina Motasem wedding dress which Julia wore for the day.
All this wouldn’t have been possible though without all the seven photographers who came along for the day too and what a great group of people we had! Everybody got on so well from the moment we all arrived in the morning – so much so that most of us were still eating pizza together well in to the night! Liam, Bee and I always try to stress to our attendees the importance of seeing other photographers as friends and not competitors and everybody who attended yesterday had that exact same philosophy, it was so nice 🙂
A huge thank you to all of you!!
We split the day up in to different sections, so we covered both natural light and off camera flash, as well as indoor and outdoor portraits. I photographed Julia whilst Liam photographed Laura and Pete and we swapped groups half way through the day so that everybody got to spend some time watching both of us work.
The day was such a huge success that we are already thinking of holding another shooting workshop later in the year so please keep an eye on our wedding photography training website redferncrawleyunited.co.uk or follow us on Twitter at @redferncrawley
