Wedding Photography training in Lancashire
Last week saw the forth of my solo wedding photography workshops. This was the first which I have held at the awesome Ashfield House in Wigan though and I loved it. Ashfield House is such a fantastic wedding venue, so photogenic and all the staff there have been incredibly helpful and kind, the whole place has such a friendly and happy feel about it. I certainly hope to do a real wedding at Ashfield House in the future.
The whole day was brilliant, we spent the morning talking about weddings in general before discussing posing and shooting in natural light indoors. After lunch (which was amazing!! Huge thanks to Katie at Ashfield House for organising it) we went outside to shoot in harsh sunlight – which was a great lesson in what to do when the light is very harsh and contrasty. We also spent some time creating a unique creative portrait using flash – which you can see at the end of this post.
Massive thanks to everyone who made the day such a huge success; the 10 photographers who attended, Zoe and Tom (brilliant photographers in their own right!) and Lucia for being our models, the team from Flossy and Leigh for making the girls look amazing and Laura from Laurel Weddings for the beautiful flowers.
If you are interested in attending a future workshop, then please sign up to my mailing list below – this is the only way I inform people of future dates:
