Engagement shoot in Montestigliano, Tuscany

As I write this I am sat in the morning Italian sunshine getting ready to photograph my friends Kelly and Stu’s wedding here at the beautiful Montestigliano estate in Tuscany. It’s going to be an absolutely amazing day.

Montesigliano is one of the most stunning places I have ever been so to actually get the chance to do an engagement shoot here was incredible. It’s so quiet and peaceful and could not be more photogenic. The views are breath taking and you just feel so relaxed walking around the estate. If only all venues were as pretty as this one!

I have been looking forward to today since Kelly first asked me to be her destination wedding photographer 18 months ago. Photographing a wedding in Tuscany is one thing but when the bride is one of your best friends it takes it to another level.

Beautiful Tuscany engagement shoot

Last night myself and the awesome Toni Darcy photographed Kelly and Stu around Montestigliano. A beautiful couple, stunning scenery and the most incredible warm evening light – a photographer’s dream. 

If today’s wedding is even half as good as last night’s Tuscany engagement shoot was then I will be very lucky.

Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from last night. I could have posted many more but I will just leave here for now. As soon as I have finished this post I will be going for a shower and getting ready to photograph the actual wedding day! It’s going to be an amazing day.
