Stanley House Hotel Wedding Photography

I have been very lucky over the past few years to not only photograph countless weddings for so many amazing couples but also to capture the wedding days of some of my best friends and family. This is something I always love doing as it’s the best present I can give really (I’m no good at choosing toasters!) and it’s so nice as I often know lots of the wedding guests too 🙂 This was exactly the case for Hayley and Paul’s beautiful wedding at Stanley House Hotel in Lancashire because Paul is my cousin.

Hayley and Paul really did have an incredible day – in every way – the weather couldn’t have been better (the sun was shining down on them all day) and I can’t remember a wedding day with quite as much laughter as theirs! Hayley looked absolutely beautiful in her dress and I don’t think I’ve ever seen Paul looking as smart! Haha

This was a day that had so many highlights. From the excitement of everybody getting ready in the morning, to the emotion of the ceremony, to everybody hitting the dancefloor in the evening (including me but luckily my camera was sleeping by then 😉 ) it really was an amazing day and I couldn’t have been happier for them both.

A special mention to Tony, Paul and Olly too for the speeches the gave. I may be a bit biased but they were honestly three of the best speeches I can ever remember seeing. From tears to belly laughing, they were each incredible. The same goes to Hayley’s sister Natalie (whose wedding I also photographed 8 years ago) who performed a special, personalised version of Ice Ice Baby to Hayley and Paul after their first dance. So funny and absolutely brilliant! Such a brilliant day!!

A huge thank you to my uber talented friend Beth for making Hayley and Paul’s beautiful wedding cake. I am always blown away by Beth’s cake creations, they are always absolutely incredible and Beth excelled as always. I can also confirm that the cake tasted just as perfect as it looked!

To Hayley and Paul – you are both perfect together and I am so pleased that you had such a perfect day. See you both soon! 🙂 xx
