A bride and groom saying to me “we want to give you complete freedom to photograph our day how you want and please be as creative as you like” is literally music to my ears. That is exactly what Nicola and Andy said to me on the phone a few days before their stunning Spring wedding at Mitton Hall, so I really couldn’t have been more excited to capture their day.

Not only did I have complete freedom to photograph the day as creatively as I could, I was also photographing a couple who couldn’t have been more excited to get married and as such had the absolute dream wedding day. Smiles, laughter, tears, moments – this was a day that had it all and it was a dream to photograph.

These are the days when it doesn’t feel like a job at all.
