This blog post is a bit different from usual, as it’s about the Sir Alex Ferguson statue unveiling rather than weddings, so please accept my apologies if for the lack of brides in this post! 😉
I went to Manchester United‘s ground, Old Trafford, today for Sir Alex Ferguson statue unveiling – Manchester United’s Manager since 1986. Since I have been following football, I have only ever known known Sir Alex as manager, which is just unbelievable. It was great to be there. One of the best moments was that just as the statue was uncovered, a huge rainbow appeared over Manchester.
Anyway, I took my camera along (surprise, surprise) and took some photographs of the unveiling from the crowd. They’re not the best as I was in a scrum of fans quite far away so getting in a good position with my camera was very difficult, but I thought it would be nice to share them anyway.
Congratulations Sir Alex – and thank you 🙂
PS – Normal wedding photography blog posts will resume in a couple of days!
Wow these are brilliant! I would have loved to have been there, but mainly to stalk Cantona. Man, I miss him so much.
