Same sex wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn – Liz & Ruth

What a brilliant day Liz and Ruth’s wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn was. If I could photograph their wedding 30 times a year I would jump at the chance. Two people who are perfect for each other having the time of their lives and being joined by all their family and friends for an absolutely epic party. It’s days like this which make me love my job so much.

When I first met Liz and Ruth I can remember them saying to me that they wanted their wedding to be a huge party and that the most important thing for them was all their friends and family having an amazing day – and that was music to my ears. That is exactly what happened too, the whole day was so relaxed but yet so genuine and so full of emotion at the same time. From a photographer’s point of view it really was the perfect day to photograph with moments happening all over the place – I just had to make sure I was there to capture as many as I could.
