Creative Peckforton Castle wedding photography
These are the days that doing this job just doesn’t feel like work. An absolutely brilliant couple having the best day ever, surrounded by equally happy family and friends, getting married in a stunning venue. Seeing so many happy people and being able to capture that knowing that the photographs will be looked back on for years to come is such a special thing and it is what makes this the best job in the world!
Lindsey and Fharhad’s wedding at Peckforton Castle was a brilliant day to photograph. Peckforton Castle is such a great venue (as is St Boniface Church in Bunbury where the ceremony took place), it is one of those places with the wow factor everywhere, bot inside and outside. As you enter the main courtyard you feel as if you are walking back in time.
A few weeks before the wedding I had met up with them Lindsey & Fharhad for their Peak District engagement shoot and it was obvious how excited they both were for their wedding, so I was so pleased that it turned out to be as perfect as they had been hoping for.
I love weddings where I get to work with my friends too and so it was great to work with my lovely friend Sam from the amazing Flossy and Leigh too! Sam always makes her brides feel so at ease whilst having their hair and make-up done and Lindsey looked beautiful.
Although I didn’t get chance to see her on the day, a special mention to my uber-talented friend Cakes by Beth who made Lindsey & Fharhad’s incredible wedding cake. I have been lucky enough to see lots of Beth’s cakes and they always amaze me, Lindsey and Fharhad’s cake was certainly no exception, it looked absolutely stunning, especially placed in such a perfect setting as castle’s Great Hall.
Thank you both so much again Lindsey and Fharhad for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day at Peckforton Castle. It has been so nice getting to know you both over the past few months and I know you will have a very long and happy marriage together.
