Marquee wedding photography

Luci and Phil’s beautiful marquee wedding in Cheshire was one of the most relaxed, fun and happiest weddings I have ever photographed.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that I don’t think anybody at the wedding went more than a few seconds without smiling. It was such a happy day with smiles and laughter everywhere. An incredible celebration of two awesome people and I absolutely loved being a part of such a memorable day.

One of the reasons the day felt so relaxed and stress free is because the whole day took place at Luci and Phil’s house in Cheshire with the majority of the day being spent in and around a marquee constructed in their garden. I know from speaking to Luci and Phil that this requires an awful lot of planning as they had to think about and plan literally every aspect of their day down to the smallest detail, but it really was worth it and made their wedding day even more special. The only thing they couldn’t plan was the weather, but there was no need at all to worry as the sun didn’t stop shining all day.

Luci and Phil had a humanist wedding ceremony in their garden, conducted by the brilliant Hannah Wroe Gill, who did an absolutely fantastic job. The ceremony was beautiful and extremely personal.

To Luci and Phil – thank you both so much again for asking me to photograph your stunning marquee wedding. It has been so nice getting to know you both and I am so pleased that your day was everything you had wanted it to be – and more I’m sure! It was an incredible day and nothing less than you both deserved. I wish you all the very best for your future together 🙂
