capuchin monkey in Costa Rica

A few days ago Michelle and I returned from an incredible two week holiday in Costa Rica, one of the most beautiful countries we have visited ๐Ÿ™‚

Costa Rica is such an incredible country, full of wildlife, stunning scenery, very different climates and RUM! We absolutely loved it.ย  After arriving in the capital, San Jose, we spent our first week on a tour around the country organised by the fantastic G Adventures, spending two nights each in La Fortuna, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio before traveling to Montezuma for a lazy week on the beach. We were very lucky that we made so many new friends from all around the world on our tour which was so nice – Pura Vida to you all! x

Whilst traveling around we did so many amazing activities such as canyoneering (which is basically abseiling down waterfalls!), snorkling, visiting national parks and zip-lining – one of the zip lines which we did (superman style!) was 1 mile long and almost 200 meters high! You can see Michelle setting off on this in the video at the end of this blog post ๐Ÿ™‚

We also saw so much wildlife, animals were literally everywhere! We saw iguanas, monkeys, racoons, snakes, sloths, toucans, crocodiles, frogs, hummingbirds,ย tarantulas and lots more – all in the wild.ย  We love seeing animals in their natural habitat and Costa Rica is one of the best places in the world for that.

Here are a few of the photographs I took on our travels ๐Ÿ™‚
