Creative Chinese wedding photographer
Lisa and Raman’s Chinese wedding at West Tower near Manchester was so much fun. This was the first Chinese wedding which I had photographed and I loved it. There was just so much going on and so much emotion to photograph.
From the Chinese door games and tea ceremony in the morning, through to the tears and smiles of the wedding ceremony, through to the sparklers and epic dancing in the evening. The whole day was amazing. Each and every one of the wedding guests were full of smiles. The atmosphere was brilliant.
West Tower is such a fantastic wedding venue. This was the first wedding I have photographed there but I really hope I am asked to photograph more wedding photographs there as it is stunning and is perfect for portrait photography. Especially in the evening as the sun sets over a field directly to the side of the venue. The view as it does so is beautiful.

If I am able to, I always enjoy getting quite close with my camera. That way I believe the photographs have far more impact. The great about this day is that no one ever looked twice at me as the wedding photographer and I loved that. I really enjoyed seeing the different traditions of the Chinese wedding part of the day. It was a privilege to be able to capture so many important parts of the day at close quarters.
A huge thank you to my good friend and fantastic photographer Kyle Hassall for assisting me at this wedding. It was great to have you along Kyle. Thank you again for all your help.
To Lisa and Raman – thank you so much for asking me to be your Chinese wedding photographer. It was such an honour to be there and capture your special day for you. I wish you both all the very best for your future together.
Here is a small selection of my favourite photograph from your day.
