2018…. WOW. What. A. Year.

The year couldn’t have started any better as my first wedding of 2018 was Laura and Aaron’s wedding in Hong Kong. The whole experience of traveling to Hong Kong and having a week there to explore such a unique and beautiful city, you can see some of my personal photographs from Hong Kong here, was just incredible and Laura and Aaron couldn’t not have been kinder and more helpful whilst I was there too. An unforgettable experience and I will always be grateful to Laura and Aaron for inviting me to be a part of their celebrations in Hong Kong.

Then, in March I held the first of the 10 wedding photography workshops which I ran throughout the year. Hosting workshops and helping other photographers develop their skills is something I absolutely love. It gives me so much satisfaction to see others gain confidence and improve – and the fact that all 10 workshops sold out almost immediately just blows my mind. A massive thank you to all the photographers who attended and made the workshops so much fun.

I have been so lucky this year with the weddings which I have photographed in 2018. Without exception, I have loved each and every one and in the process I have become friends with so many incredible and kind couples. From a personal point of view the year has been a struggle but all the bride and grooms who know why could not have been more understanding and the kindness and support you have all shown has touched me massively.

To be able to do this job, which allows me to witness the emotion, the unique moments and the happiness which I do, is just incredible and that is all down to the trust placed in me by the bride and grooms who book me. So to each and every one of my couples, I would like to say a huge and heartfelt, thank you.

This year also saw me start my YouTube channel. I started the channel as a bit of fun as I was fascinated by YouTube as a way of developing on from my workshops and I thought it would be fun to show small behind the scenes clips of how I shot certain images. I didn’t think for a second that the channel would grow in just a few short months to over 6,000 subscribers from all around the world. So again, to everyone who has subscribed to my channel and left such kind and lovely comments on my videos, a massive thank you.

2019 is already shaping up to be another amazing year, with weddings booked in all over the UK, as well as Germany and France, and I can’t wait to see what adventures lie in store. It’s going to be a good one – I can just feel it 🙂

So, as I like to do every year, here is a little round up of 100 of my favourite wedding photographs from 2018.

Once again, to everyone who has been in front of my lens, has helped me behind it, and who has supported me this year: Thank you.
