I can’t believe how fast this year has gone, it only seems like a few weeks ago that I was putting together my Best of 2016 post, but the time has come around already when I sit back and look through all the images I have taken throughout the past 12 months to try and make some sense of what has been another crazy year.
Putting together my end of year blog post is something I always enjoy doing. There are certain times throughout the year when everything is beautifully manic, so it’s always nice to sit back and reflect on all the incredible moments I have been lucky enough to capture in what I would like to think has been my best year yet as a wedding photographer.
I say this every year but I am so lucky to worked with such incredible couples. It is through their trust in me that I am able to take the photographs which I do, so I am extremely grateful to all the bride and grooms who have asked me to photograph their wedding and let me in to their world for a day. I have been to some stunning venues all around the country and overseas but for me it is always, and will always be, about the the people and the moments. Working in beautiful settings is always amazing but it is the moments, the true, real and heartfelt moments, which are what will truly last the memory. And I have seen some unforgettable ones this year.
I also held three wedding photography workshops in 2017, each of which sold out within a few days and it has been a privilege to have had so many talented photographers join me on what have been brilliant days. My next workshop in February is already sold out and I will be announcing another date in the New Year.
I was also very proud to have been ranked in top 10 wedding photographers in the UK by the Masters of Wedding Photography UK & Ireland and named BIPP North West Creative Wedding Photographer of the Year.
To all my bride and grooms I would like to say a huge thank you, not only for asking me to capture your day but also for putting so much faith in me and allowing me to share your photographs here. I wish you all a lifetime of happiness 🙂
So here it is, just a few of the thousands of images I have taken this year. Here’s to the next crazy twelve months!
Love it mate! There’s so much authentic love in your photos! You’re the most consistent photographer I’ve ever known and your work truly stands out for that. Really feels like you’ve honed in on your style and what you really love over the last couple of years too. Phenomenal collection. Congrats!
