Lauren and Rick’s Peckforton Castle wedding was everything you could want as a wedding photographer. An amazing bride and groom, one of the the best wedding venues in the North West, beautiful weather and an absolutely amazing atmosphere – oh and Lauren and Rick’s dog, Bella!

It was such a privilege to be a part of this wedding, Lauren and Rick are an incredible couple and made me feel more like a wedding guest than a wedding photographer. They literally couldn’t have done more to make me feel a part of the celebrations and for that I was really grateful. I love photographing weddings (obviously!), but when the bride and groom go that bit extra to make you feel part of the day it really is nice, and Lauren and Rick couldn’t have done that more. 

It is definitely fair to say that Lauren and Rick’s wedding planning wasn’t the easiest, originally they had planned to get married in Scotland but due to a problem beyond their control this didn’t happen, so they brought Scotland to Cheshire! And the wedding was all the better for it! Lauren’s Scottish family, a bagpiper, kilts and a Cèilidh band gave the whole wedding day a really fantastic Scottish feel and everything went absolutely perfectly and I couldn’t have been happier for them both.

It was also great to work with the awesome The Tall Toastmaster too, great to see you again Stefan!

To Lauren and Rick, thank you so much once again for asking me to be your Peckforton Castle wedding photographer. It has been so nice to get to know you both and I really couldn’t happier that after your stressful run up to the wedding day, everything worked out perfectly for you both.
