When I think back to Hannah and Rob’s amazing summer wedding at Hoghton Tower in Lancashire, I literally cannot think of anything which could have gone any better for them both. This was a day full of smiles, laughter, happy tears, emotion and lots and lots of sunshine. An absolutely incredible day which was a privilege to be a part of.

It is hard to think of any bride and groom so clearly happy and loving their day as much as Hannah and Rob did. It was so nice to see them both so happy – there was no stress on this wedding day, just laughter and happiness all around. With the summer weather being as perfect as it was, these are the days which I live for as a photographer. The Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel happened on the same day but I know for a fact that Harry and Megan could not have been any happier than Hannah and Rob were – I definitely think I got to photograph the best wedding!

Hoghton Tower has long been one of my favourite wedding venues. It looks so amazing whatever the time of year but on a day like this, a beautiful warm summer’s day, it looked stunning. It really is a breathtaking wedding venue.

It was also brilliant to work again with my good friend and uber talented film maker Jonathan from Red Seats – I can’t wait to see Jon’s film of this wedding!
