Over the past month I held two of my ‘Creativity’ wedding photography workshops in the North West. My intention was only to hold one but after it sold out within two days I decided to put on a second date.
Both workshops were held at the stunning Ashfield House in Lancashire. Ashfield House has recently been named best wedding venue in the country at the TWIA Awards so it was an honour to again use this amazing venue for my workshops.
The feedback I have received from each of the attendees of these two workshops has been incredible and very humbling. I absolutely love helping other photographers and see them get excited about learning new techniques and ideas.
Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from these two fantastic days. I have included a short behind the scenes video at the end so you can see a little bit more of what we all got up to at the workshops!
“I first came across Neil’s work whilst looking for inspiration for some nighttime photographs online. I was immediately blown away by his work and knew that I wanted to learn from him myself. After deciding to go on one of Neil’s ‘Creativity’ workshops I was extremely excited to learn some of his techniques as well as the processes he uses to achieve such remarkable imagery. He did not disappoint and was so enthusiastic about helping all of the attendees learn no matter what level of photography they were currently at. He got us to think outside of the box to be more creative and not to be scared to try new and different things. The whole day was jam-packed with an abundance of knowledge and was incredibly fast paced whilst allowing time to talk through each scenario we would be photographing. I would highly recommend Neil’s workshops to anybody who is wanting to take better photographs. Neil has rejuvenated my approach to photographing weddings and I cannot thank him enough, you are awesome my man!!”
