I recently met up with Preeya and Pankaj for their Hindu engagement photography in St Albans and what a brilliant evening it was 🙂

Preeya and Pankaj are such a fantastic couple, clearly perfect for each other and it was so nice to wander around a place as pretty and photogenic as St Albans on a lovely warm summers evening taking photographs of them both.

We met up at St Albans Cathedral, an amazing building inside and out. Preeya is extremely organised and had even contacted the Cathedral for permission to shoot inside, which was great. After we left it looked as though the weather may not be on our side as it started raining, so we decided to go and have a drink and keep our fingers crossed that the weather would improve.

Luckily, as we headed back out the sun started to shine and we wandered around St Albans and down to a lovely park. Pankaj grew up in St Albans and it was also the place where they went on their first date together so I loved that the locations we went to for photographs had a really personal meaning to both of them.

Preeya and Pankaj were amazing to photograph and I really can’t wait for their Hindu wedding in Manchester next month, I know it’s going to be amazing!
