Inn at Whitewell weddings

The Inn at Whitewell is one of Lancashire’s best and most popular wedding venues and once you visit there it is easy to see why. I have been lucky enough to photograph a number of weddings over the past few years and can honestly say that each one has been amazing.

Located near Clitheroe and built in the 1300s, the Inn at Whitewell is set in the stunning Forest of Bowland and the views all around the venue are just amazing and make for amazing images! The venue is situated in such a beautiful part of country and I always love going there. It even featured in an episode of The Trip with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon – and they loved it too!

By walking just a short distance from the front of the venue, there are some really fantastic locations for photographs. I particularly like the stepping stones which always make for quirky and fun photographs for the more adventurous bride and grooms!

Next door to the Inn at Whitewell is the beautiful St Michaels Church and many of the couples who I have photographed have had their wedding ceremony there. It is such a nice Church and with it being just a few steps away, it is perfectly located. The light in there is perfect for photographs too!

Wedding receptions at the Inn at Whitewell take place in a beautiful marquee connected to the side of the venue. Each time I have photographed weddings there, the marquee has looked absolutely incredible. In the day time you can see all the amazing views whilst at night it looks great with creative lighting.
